Do any of these Web Designers writing anti-Website Builder service screeds ever ran a business themselves outside of the Web Design industry or consider the fact most people do not want to pay thousands just so they can run a Blog or Site in order to post pictures of their kids and pets, or that the vast majority of people who use the Internet don’t care about originality in Web Template patterns?
I feel like I’m reading essays by naive startup founders who don’t understand why there isn’t a huge interest in their product and are deciding that it’s their target market that is wrong.
Not like I am against criticism of WordPress, SquareSpace, and so on mind you, but they should be based on fact-like it or not SEO results aren’t as dependent on using original sites as many are framing it, amongst other types of advocacy that is pretty disingenuous if not outright lying.
